MIA (Sabbatical)

For any of my regular friends here,  I am on mini sabbatical from the blog. :) Trying to get my darn rooms cleaned and re-organized. However, I will still be "trolling" all your blogs nonetheless (Muse, Ron, Hawk, Gypsy, Arial, etc... ) Just wanted to let you know of my absence - could be a day or a few weeks- who knows! Thanks for being such awesome friends too! HUGS!

I live in you and I die in you, what else is possible? Nothing. I love living in you if you love it, and I can tell you that you live in me and only that, you are my life. I love not belonging to me and you do and belonging to you when I do. What identification have you given me? I live as that. Do you love me yet? I welcome you to love beyond the self. --- Katie

Hey Lady, I've been on a retreat too. I've been soaring around but have only made two posts in 30 days. I'm just scaling back for a bit. We'll see you when we see you. BTW, have loads of fun cleaning the cobwebs and dust and whatever else you do when you get things cleaned, straight, and organized.

Hugs!

Hi, Sibyllae!!

Enjoy your time away! I've just returned from my own LOA, and decided a fresh blog would also do nicely. Hope to see you again!

Hello Gregory - I am wondering if you are the artist that lives in Tiruvannamalai? If so, how curious! I have a fascination with this particular area because of my interest in Mathru Sri Sarada (a female devotee). The only documentation about this unusual woman is found in this text (which is now out of print but if you are interested and can find it): No Mind - I Am the Self. Thanks for sharing your view also, very thought provoking!

Hi Sibyllae , I have devoted my life to mathru sri sarada and use to meditate on her form for about 4 hours a day,but have not manage to meet her yet,any ideas

Hello Ponmoorthy - just to be clear - I am referring to Mathru Sri Sarada whom is relatively unknown up until recently. (There is another Sarada Devi who is more well known and sometimes people confuse the names). '

Regarding Mathru Sarada the last address I had was:

Arunachala Hridayam Vanna Durga,
Amman Koil St. Sri Ramanashramam
P.O. Tiruvannamalai PIN 606603 Tamil Nadu, India

I have the understanding that Sarada and Lakshamana do not meet with people as a general rule - and only appear 3 times a year in public. If you wish to see Mathru in person, you would need to find out when during the year darshan is held. You could also check out: http://www.ramana-maharshi.org/ and see about accomodations as Ramana's ashrama is nearby to where Lakshamana and Sarada Devi usually reside.

I've found there is also a new website dedicated to the elusive Sarada Devi and Lakshamana! You can check it out here: http://mathrusrisarada.org/

Another blogger also has posted about both Sarada and Lakshamana here: http://lakshmanaswamy.blogspot.com/

Have you read David Godman's book? It is out of print now but still available. My perspective on this is that Sarada and Lakshaman are not interested in personalities, but interested in the soul which is universal and one. I feel that they meet people in their heart of hearts. I wish you success and admire your devotion to Sarada- she is a rare and amazing soul. I too wish to meet her someday! But I suspect I shall have to look within to find her!

Hi Sybil,

I am talking bout the same mathru sri sarada that you r talking ,she is the disciple of laksmana swamy right, the one that was written in the Book No Mind I am The Self..She is my Mother n somehow I am going to meet her,if not I am going to keep bugging her in my prayers till she agrees.

Thanks for all the info and God bless you.
